The repair and reinforcement kit for the trailing arm mount for the BMW E46 is the latest product in the reinforcement series for this model.
The reinforcement has been designed with more demanding users in mind, as well as for more challenging repairs of the E46, which is often used as a base for motorsport projects. Our product is intended not only for repairing the mount but also for preventing future damage. Therefore, it is worth welding in this kit when building a project or repairing the rear suspension.
The reinforcement is made from S355 steel with a thickness of 3mm.
THE REINFORCEMENT FEATURES AN EXTENDED ADJUSTMENT RANGE (larger basket), WHICH ALLOWS FOR GREATER CAMBER ADJUSTMENT. This is particularly important for heavily lowered cars or those tuned for maximum grip.
DUE TO THE LARGER BASKET DESIGN, SEVERAL "HAMMERS" WILL NEED TO BE USED TO CREATE SPACE IN THE BODYWORK.
The kit also includes a TEMPLATE, which should be used before cutting the bodywork. It should be placed, and several holes should be drilled to provide reference points for correctly welding the new baskets/reinforcements. When the drilled holes align with the holes in the reinforcement, it means the reinforcement is in the right place.
Our product is made in Poland by skilled workers. It is laser cut and then bent using CNC press brakes.
