We offer lightweight panels for the BMW E46 coupe. Made from 1mm thick aluminum, the rear panel weighs only 0.8 kg, and the front panel weighs 1.2 kg. They are powder-coated on one side. These panels serve both aesthetic and protective functions, preventing smoke and dust from entering through the wheel arches, while also stiffening the laminate doors. Installation is at your discretion, but we recommend using rivets for best results.
NOTE: THE HANDLE REQUIRES RELOCATION TOWARD THE REAR OF THE DOOR, WHICH MEANS IT WILL NEED TO BE OPENED “OVER THE ARM.”
The set includes bushings for mounting the handle on the panels.
